Lone Warrior
In the coliseum of life
Covered with battle scars
Stands the lone warrior
Fighting through the travesties
Battling through the bruises
Broken by mistrusts
Mocked by naysayers
Standeth the fighter
His heart a bit lighter
Torn by fear
And his mind unclear
Will he overcome
And breakthrough the scrum?
To realize the promise given
Many a time to the young ‘un
And stand up once again
For the faith giveth by loved one!
The next punch is to the gut
With his bloodied face
He falls flat in the dirt
Through the clouds
Peeks the ray of light
With memories of the maker
Giving Solace and Succor
Kindle the fire within
As the outer noise gets fainter
His inner roar gets louder
The man in the ring
must persevere
As victory is not
for the bravest
Or guaranteed
for the strongest
But to the one
Who perseveres the longest
Very Deep and Powerful Poem. Definitely a masterpiece
